Chicory Catalonia

The common chicory reaches a maximum height of 1.5m (minimum 20 cm). The biological cycle is perennial, but sometimes even annual; in the first year a basal rosette of leaves appears, while the flower stem appears only during the second year of life of the plant. It is a perennial plant with buds placed at ground level with an elongated and not very leafy stem.
